About this piece
A weathered antique Neoclassical finial sourced from an estate in Shropshire. Dating to circa 1780, this finial has a desirable weathered look only achieved after exposure to the elements over many years.
You can just imagine this striking antique adding charm to a handsome garden or courtyard of a period property.
Beneath the characterful weathered surface of this large scale finial is white statuary marble, with an impressive layered square base and rounded socle.
